Hockey is back!

Gavin is playing hockey again and he is now on the 8u team. Of course Andrew is coaching again and he has such a great team! This past Sunday the game was tied and we ended up having a shoot out. Both teams tried and were unsuccessful in scoring until Ryan, the littlest guy on our team, scored and won the game for us!

Work work work

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Work is too much fun. I love what I am doing- I just need to get used to the hours!!! The picture is one a friend took of me at work. This is where I sit all night, next to the show host. When he needs something modeled, he tells me. You will see my hand all night with rings and bracelets. It's so cute- when I'm at work the kids watch me :)

Sock hop!

Last Friday night STM had a sock hoP to kick off the "rock and run"- a fundraiser for the school. It was from 7-9pm in the gym and I told the kids we weren't going. Kaili had girl scouts until 5, we had to eat dinner and I had to be at work at 10pm!!! I definitely did not think we wOuld have time to squeeze it all in. Kaili went home with her friend Lila after school and when Andrew picked her up and told her we werent going, she went to pieces. So my agenda was out. We ate a quick dinner and headed back dOwn to STM. And I'm so happy that we did. They kids had such a good time and we loved seeing them just have fun with their best friends. Max was a little scared at first; there was loud music and strobe lights. He eventually loosened up and started to dance! Kaili even won a raffle prize! I was EXHAUSTED at work that nIght, tO say the least, but it was worth it. I've really got to put them first, even if it means I'm extra tired working until 3am.

Where has the time gone???

Ever since the kids started school and I started working, my life has been crazy! Everyone knows that I drive the kids to St. Thomas More School in Decatur. We are in the car for what seems like forever! Andrew and I always heard that when your kids start activities and "real" school, that your life would become HECTIC> that was the truth!

Gavin has hockey two days a week, Kaili has karate one day a week, I work three nights a week and Andrew has hockey 1-2 nights a week.

Work. Oh work. I started working at the Gem Shopping Network. It is right up the street from my house and it seemed like the perfect plan. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3am-11am. Its a pretty fun place to work, the hours are just killing me! I did that so I wouldnt have to leave Max in a daycare and wouldn't miss much of Kaili and Gavin's school days. Im doing all of this to pay for Catholic school tuition = completely worth it.

My schedule is changing. I am going to primarily be doing jewelry modeling on friday and saturday nights. So if you happen to watch, you will see my hand or me modeling a necklace or earrings. I am pretty excited. I loved being involved in the sales and production aspect, but also can't wait for this! The kids love to watch and see me when I am there.

I have been getting home at about 11:30am. Most days i either can't sleep or feel too guilty to sleep. I feel like its not the kids fault their mom is tired, so why punish them with me sleeping the day away. So I stay up. That is not working out so well. My coffee pot and I have become best friends.

Thank goodness Andrew is so amazing!! The very first weekend I worked, I came home to a clean house and car. He even did the laundry!!! I don't think he has even stepped foot in the laundry room since we have been married. He doesn't complain either. He knows we are both sacrificing for the kids.

This past weekend Andrew and I got a well deserved break. Mom and dad took the kids overnight so we could hang out and relax! Our kids have the most amazing set of grandparents. They not only help, but do it with a happy heart. They ASK for our kids! Amazing. Our kids are really lucky to have them in their lives.

Many memories

Ive been so bad about blogging. Since we had problems with our internet (Thanks to the lightning), I haven't been about to update. So here we go...

*Gavin celebrated his 5th birthday with a party at the pool! There were about 25 kids there so it was a little wild! He had so much fun!

This is from the morning of his birthday at Krispy Kreme. He got to pick where he wanted to eat breakfast.
I dont have any pictures from the party uploaded! I will have to do that.

* Andrew and I got away for our 6th anniversary to Asheville, NC! Thanks to mom and dad :) We drove up and were planning on hiking but the weather was freezing! We definitely were not expecting that. We ate amazing food and got to relax. The next day we did go hikinig at mount pisgah and saw some beautiful waterfalls! We then headed over to slippery rock. It is a huge natural waterslide. I was really excited to go down it until I heard that the water was 43 degrees! It was so freexing, once you reached the bottom, it took your breath away!

This is us after! FREEZING!!!

*We went to the beach! We got to go back to Ocean Isle, NC with my parents for a week. Everytime we go, I love OI more and more. Its so perfect for families.

* Gavin and Kaili started school at STM! Kaili started 2nd grade and Gavin is in kindergarten. The first day was ROUGH for me. Not them. They ran right off so excited to see their friends. I sat in the parking lot with Andrew and cried. I can't believe they are so big.

* Last weekend we took the kids up to downtown Suwanee and watched Better Than Ezra play a free show. We met up with a bunch of friends and their kids and all of the kids ran around while we all got to chat. We LOVE Suwanee. Hopefully one day there will be a move there :)

* I started working! Its been a lot getting used to the hectic schedule with the kids. THe hours are not wonderful but its worth it for STM.

* Update on Gavin: He is doing much better! No real compaints of stomach pain. Thank goodness. We are just going to wait it out and see how the school year goes. Hopefully he has grown out of it *fingers crossed*
