Ive been so bad about blogging. Since we had problems with our internet (Thanks to the lightning), I haven't been about to update. So here we go...
*Gavin celebrated his 5th birthday with a party at the pool! There were about 25 kids there so it was a little wild! He had so much fun!
This is from the morning of his birthday at Krispy Kreme. He got to pick where he wanted to eat breakfast.
I dont have any pictures from the party uploaded! I will have to do that.
* Andrew and I got away for our 6th anniversary to Asheville, NC! Thanks to mom and dad :) We drove up and were planning on hiking but the weather was freezing! We definitely were not expecting that. We ate amazing food and got to relax. The next day we did go hikinig at mount pisgah and saw some beautiful waterfalls! We then headed over to slippery rock. It is a huge natural waterslide. I was really excited to go down it until I heard that the water was 43 degrees! It was so freexing, once you reached the bottom, it took your breath away!
This is us after! FREEZING!!!
*We went to the beach! We got to go back to Ocean Isle, NC with my parents for a week. Everytime we go, I love OI more and more. Its so perfect for families.
* Gavin and Kaili started school at STM! Kaili started 2nd grade and Gavin is in kindergarten. The first day was ROUGH for me. Not them. They ran right off so excited to see their friends. I sat in the parking lot with Andrew and cried. I can't believe they are so big.
* Last weekend we took the kids up to downtown Suwanee and watched Better Than Ezra play a free show. We met up with a bunch of friends and their kids and all of the kids ran around while we all got to chat. We LOVE Suwanee. Hopefully one day there will be a move there :)
* I started working! Its been a lot getting used to the hectic schedule with the kids. THe hours are not wonderful but its worth it for STM.
* Update on Gavin: He is doing much better! No real compaints of stomach pain. Thank goodness. We are just going to wait it out and see how the school year goes. Hopefully he has grown out of it *fingers crossed*
